Here comes the 14th Annual Siskiyou Folk & Bluegrass Festival!

                                                                July 22th, 2017

                                                       Greetings, festival-goers!

The Rotary Club of the Illinois Valley is proud to present the 14th Annual Siskiyou Folk and Bluegrass Festival Saturday July 22th, 2017.
Mark your calendars!

Thank you everyone for making the 2016 Siskiyou Folk and Bluegrass Festival one of the most successful to date!

How would you like to learn some of the basics of playing the “fiddle”? Well, Kelly Thibodeaux will be at our Siskiyou Folk and Bluegrass Festival and he can show you some of the basics of “fiddling”! Kelly will be at Lake Selmac on Saturday from about 11am to 1pm with some of his extraordinary hand painted fiddles and would love to work with children and families and share his love of music. Instruction is free with your entry fee! If you are interested, just tell the Rotarians at the Check IN table. Evergreen Elementary parents have experienced the energy of Kelly’s influence on their children, as he was a guest at the school during the last year in several grades. Please consider coming to join us on Saturday, hear some fantastic Bluegrass, Folk and Swamp Rock music, eat some great food and even learn to play the fiddle! All proceeds of this Festival will go towards Rotary’s goal of helping youth in our valley. Gate opens at 10; music starts at 11 and lasts all day! Bring sunscreen, lawn chairs, blankets and your dancing” shoes!
